Good idea and implementation, but the image would look better, if you:
1. Convert it to the B&W.
2. Move the pear a bit farther to the left.
3. Or cropped the image to 1×1 with a pear dead in the center of the image.

hehe, gerade vorhin hab ich erst so eine Birne in die Knie gezwungen – hat wunderbar geschmeckt – und auch das Photo hier ist mal wieder sehr interessant, mit welchem simplen Einfällen man seine Zuschauer überraschen kann ;-)
Nur der Hintergrund passt mit nicht so ganz dazu – aber die Tischplatte mit den Spiegelungen umso besser!
grossartig! irgendwie erinnert mich die zerschnittene birne nicht an killbill, sondern vielmehr in ihrer abstraktheit an die kapelle, welche du uns vor ein paar wochen präsentiert hast.

Simple, yet very effective. I also like the texture of the background and the shiny table. Have you tried a square crop for this one. I think it would work well.
A pair of two halves! I like the original way that you treat fruit and vegetables in many of your images. Here the clean cut edge describes pears as they should be eaten, crisp and slightly hard, not soft textured.
